Help with the Thousand Miles health journal
Something not working, or a question these answers don't cover? Email us, and include your iPhone model and iOS version if something is broken.

Enter your email and we send a one-time code — no password. You can also continue with Apple. An account is what lets your journal survive a reinstall and reach your other devices.
No. Any watch or tracker that writes to Apple Health works — Garmin, Oura, Whoop, Fitbit, Polar, Coros and others. With no tracker, the readiness card asks two quick questions each morning instead.
Open the Settings app → Health → Data Access & Devices → Thousand Miles, and switch each type on or off. The app can't show Apple's permission sheet a second time, so this is the way back if you declined it.
In the Settings app, tap your name → Subscriptions → Thousand Miles Plus. You can also open it from Profile → Thousand Miles Plus → Manage subscription in the app. Cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends to avoid the next renewal; Plus stays active until then.
Apple processes every purchase and handles all refunds: request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. We can't issue refunds ourselves.
Open Profile → Thousand Miles Plus → Restore purchases, signed in to the same Apple Account you paid with. If you have an offer code, use Redeem a code on the same page.
Yes. Sign in with the same account. Your journal is encrypted with a key kept in your iCloud Keychain, so a phone signed in to the same Apple ID with iCloud Keychain on opens it straight away. Apple Health data moves through Apple's own iCloud Health sync.
That phone doesn't have your key yet. Turn on iCloud Keychain (Settings → your name → iCloud → Passwords and Keychain) and give it a minute, or choose Enter your recovery code on the sheet the app shows. Nothing is deleted while it's locked. If every device, your iCloud Keychain and your recovery code are all lost, we can't unlock it for you — we never had the key.
Settings → Privacy → Export My Data. You get a zip of every entry, your profile, settings and goals as readable JSON, plus your photos. Apple Health data isn't in it — the Health app has its own export.
Settings → Delete Account. This removes your data from our servers and clears the app on that phone. Nothing in Apple Health is touched. Export first if you want a copy.
As little as possible. Apple Health data never leaves your phone, and what you write is encrypted before it reaches our servers. The Privacy Policy lists every detail.
Thousand Miles is a journal, not a medical device. Readiness scores, recaps and nutrition estimates are informational and don't replace a qualified clinician. See the Terms of Service.
